If you're coming from more polished games like Forza Horizon 5 and the like, this might feel a bit strange and clunky at first. Work through that, and you will be rewarded with some incredible experiences you won't find anywhere else. And though it is still in beta, the Rally mode is unbelievably good. They really nailed the frantic, on the limit feeling that other games lack.

A very fun game with a ton of vehicles and variants to drive. The only issue I have is the menu is extremely laggy for me. If you like driving games then you will probably love this game.

This game is awesome, the physics is realistic, so are the graphics. Totally worth it.

hands down one of the best Driving Sims, graphics are a bit meh when compared to others in the same genre, however the physics are hands top THE BEST. Can easily lose track of hours modding a car, messing around loading & unloading my car onto a trailer to go to the track, and when I start getting bored after hours of playing I just start crashing into everything lol. Game will have you hooked for hours easily, the mods others have came up with definitely keep the game getting closer to reality with graphics and apps.

If you have a bad time rn this is the best game Because you can slam into a tree with 200mph+ without any consequences

BeamNG.drive has some of the most impressive soft-body physics in gaming, and it could be the ultimate driving simulator—but it's incredibly frustrating that after all these years, we're still missing features that should be a no-brainer. No dynamic mud effects on cars? Still no realistic tire smoke? No weather effects like rain or snow? And—somehow—still no official multiplayer?

For a game that prides itself on realism, these are huge gaps. It's wild that you can watch every nut and bolt fly off your car in a crash, but your tires stay sparkling clean in the mud, the smoke looks outdated, and you're stuck driving solo in an empty sandbox. No weather means no changing conditions, and no multiplayer means no racing, crashing, or just goofing around with friends—arguably half the fun in any car game.

BeamNG feels like a masterpiece engine trapped in a beta world. I love this game, but it's hard not to be disappointed when these community-requested features are ignored year after year.

beam ng is just a really epic game to play with my homies after a late night pickle tickle session we all enjoy it very much but only after our special homie baloney tony pepporoni tickle time if you know what i mean hehe ;}

Off-roading physics like crawling, climbing, or Baja racing is far superior to any other game. Would be amazing if in a future update they added more detailed Mud or Snow related physics.

34th highest reviewed game on steam for a goddamn good reason. Scratches a different itch for everyone, some people like the crashes, some like the driving, some like the freedom of it.

Whatever you think is missing from every other car game, this one has. Just driving around admiring the view or making an incredible view of utter destruction, this game will show you things you have always wanted to see. The admiration and spectacular amount of effort the developers have done to make this remarkable game, will go down in history. Whether you want to race, crash, drift, drive, customize, etc. No matter what ideas you have, or what you want to do with vehicles or cars in general you have the freedom to do and choose every little detail. The amount of hours i have spent in this game do not matter as i would double or even triple it, if i had the chance to. If this game never existed, i do not know if i would be the person i am today without this game. BeamNG.drive has been there at my lowest and i will always come back to it, its just that dang good. If you put the effort in you can make many more things yourself to fill that void that might be missing in your life. This game has taught me even when you think things couldn't get worse, to always get back up and move forward with great strides. You might be brought down by the difficult burdens of life and i promise you, this game will be the torch that lights the tunnel. I guarantee you this game will be worth it regardless the price, and price doesn't matter when the product is sprinkled in the dust of angels and brought down for the world to experience.

When i die, i will be commemorating BeamNG.drive on my tombstone, and i will die peacefully knowing i got to enjoy and pleasure myself with the greatest game of all time.

it gave me a good idea of cars and how they work and how much damage cars really have if you roll them or hit something so its a good game if you want to learn about cars and its working parts

An must buy if you like sim racing or crashing cars, has an incredible customization with mods. Also Really Fun With Friends if you use and multiplayer mod (beammp).

This game WAS amazing, it WAS so much fun. I USED to play this for hoursn until 0.35 came out and changed this one feature that WAS one of the only reasons i played (if your curious it was the node grab feature, and you USED to be able to fling cars at like 300 mph, got severly nerfed and now you only can fling cars at like 60 mph. you could still use the river, but you had more control with the node grab.)

Most recent update just killed this game for me all mods no longer work and will need to be updated and the update itself was seemingly just a massive hirochi sunburst nerf. They removed all of the best parts the car once had the gtrx splitter, canards, and wing which offered maximum down force. Also got rid of the i4 engine. I don't understand why they couldn't just add the wagon version separately and not destroy the sedan version massive disappointment. This update to me was a massive step in the wrong direction it takes ages to perfect your car builds to what you like and changing fundamentally how the vehicles behave is just not cool to your player base. Of course id love to see new vehicles but that doesn't mean you should go removing old ones.

game is amazing for what it is keeps me busy for hours and i always come back. user friendly somewhat this is my first pc game and it runs fine on my lenovo sometimes i run into bugs that i'm not smart enough to overcome so i have to uninstall everything to play again but other than that five stars.

At this time, I cannot recommend this game after the new 0.35 update. UI change was horrible, and overall quality of life suffered, also adding more lagginess to the game, creating a feeling of more instability. Will write a better review if fixed for the future, however I do recommend the game itself. Just a lot to tackle as an experienced player now after the update, one can only imagine a first time player.

Unfortunately the latest update bricked it on windows 10, and since I would rather jab a fork into my eye socket than run windows 11.. I guess my time with this game is over..

Its the most realistic car game in the world at this moment, you can do anything from speed down a highway and drive out of a truck going 120 or fly down a mountain and crash with their good car physics and slow motion effect.

Great game. To be honest, this is only for gamers with dgpu (dedicated graphics cards) but my rtx 3060 handles it fine on 144 fps... great graphics, huge selection of upgrades, pretty much any car you could think of (with mods)... overall I'd give this a 9/10 cuz the only bad thing is that you cant really play it without a dgpu.

Very good game it will run on lower end computers for example I have a computer with an Intel pentium n4200 processor it runs but it won't run well I still highly suggest this game along with beammp for multi-player however one thing I wish was added was native multi-player and the ability to play this on console

yes. great graphics, great mods, great maps, great configurations, great customization and variety of upgrades. totally worth buying but it takes an 3080 ti (my pc) to run this game on high quality tho. aside that, amazing game. devs prob worked nights just to bring 300k players so much joy. thank you.

THE CRASH PHYSICS ARE JUST INSANE! I myself recommend the mods from the game or the official web and not the internet (DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER) Overall this game is my favorite car game!

I had seen the videos online, of people praising this game again and again, but was tormented, for I had no PC...for 7 years I endured this torment, of watching the videos and hearing my friends brag, until I finally got a PC, I rushed to download Steam, I frantically searched: "Beam.ng drive" but to my utter dismay it cost money, I eventually forked over the money and fired it up...3 hours of attempting to fix the game, and when I finally pressed "W" for the first time and it moved...I hit a pole and died, a glorious, satisfying death, but I leaked not blood, but a flood of white tears...highly recommend

I bought a pc specifically for this game and to try out a couple others but mainly this game and although I only got to play for a day before my pc power supply killed itself I still highly recommend this game I’ve watched countless of videos showing off mods and I can’t wait to play it again in the future

What's the point of a "physics simulator" if they don't even try to get the traction/gravity right? Why do the racecars slide off an average corner at 35mph?

• Probably the closest you can get to driving an actual car without driving one (unless you have a full sim setup)
  
• Great value for the price.
  
• Developers clearly care about their community and consistently release quality updates, though it may be at a slow pace for some.
  
• Community is very active, with a workshop brimming with maps, cars, and mods.
  
• Interestingly enough, all of the cars are entirely original creations, rather than the usual licensing that happens. Even then, they are usually heavily inspired by a (few) real world car(s).
  
• Real-world cars can be modded in. Additionally, creations from the game "Automation" can be imported.
  
• Attention to detail in the vehicle models is insane, especially with the later releases. Most cars can be extensively modified by swapping out parts.
  
• Career mode, despite being in early access, already shows promise.
  
• Lacks the more game-y aspects you would find in other vehicle sims, such as "unlocking" and limited events, etc. (if you're looking for Forza or NFS this is not it.)
  
• Graphics are nice (though I usually don't care too much about them)
  
• Performance is great considering how in-depth it is
  

• Vehicle selection seems focused on late-70's and 2000's era cars, though it is inevitable that more eras will be added in the future. (It would be nice to have a sporty 60's coupe, for example)
  
• The limited vehicle selection and fictitious nature of it means that there (currently) is no competition within the same class of vehicle (EX: only one type of large truck in the T-series, only one 80's-90's hatchback with the Covet, etc.) Besides the different trims and modifications involved. There's no Mustang vs. Camaro, there's only Camaro vs. Falcon, if that makes sense.
  
• Maps tend to feel small after a while. They are quite detailed, however.
  
• Multiplayer only exists in a weird, one-camera, couch co-op form without mods. Online multiplayer would elevate this game to the next level.
  
• Some cars seem incomplete in either the modifications present or otherwise seem to lack the features of newer vehicles. This is becoming less and less of a problem due to routine remasters.
