i think its been 18 years this game has been launched but the way game have made its better than nowadays games

Very sigma, if you're thinking of getting GTA 5 maybe later in the year, just wait for GTA 6 to release, but it's a good game if you have friends who play it as well.

But of course this is one of the most bestest games ever to be thought of. You should get it. If you don't then make sure you're touching grass or learning the piano.

Good game, graphics alrights, would recommend the enhanced version more!

BattlEye is a rootkit that has a total control to your machine as it run in kernel level, don't install it.

GTA V is the game where you get to live the American dream... if your dream involves stealing cars, running over retirees, and fistfighting drugged-up clowns in broad daylight. The story mode is a criminal soap opera that swings between genius and total nonsense, and somehow it works. But the real madness begins in GTA Online, where the economy is so broken they’ll pay you $15 for risking your life in a mission, while a flying bike costs $4 million. The inflation here makes Argentina look like a stable utopia. If you’re not a millionaire or a hacker, you’ll spend months grinding missions against NPCs with aim sharper than your childhood trauma. And yet, something keeps you coming back. Maybe it’s because the whole thing is designed to exploit you, just like real life, but with cooler cars.

What a dogshit business decision.
Charging full price for a shittier version of the game with a gimmicky hardware dependent feature, then calls it the "enhanced" version and unlists the original.

my relationship with this game is very abusive. it lures me in with promises of money and fun and once i return it starts beating me and berating me with horrible things. its crashes uncomfortably often and getting money take so long for no reason but i want so badly for the game to be fun. i will still play this horrible chore simulator nonetheless

This is not a bad game, it's pretty enjoyable. But after playing through this and then returning to gta 4 i can say that gta 4 is way better.

would say the single player is better.

Few things I didn't like were the lack of
enterable interiors, easily get a wanted
level and hard to get rid of one, storyline was
decent but not as good as 4 or San Andreas,
and no single player dlc like come on
GTA 4 and other games I played had single
players dlcs why not this game. For online
I didn't like it because in a public lobby you might
run into griefers who will try to kill you.
Play in an invite only sessions with your friends. I
got it again on PC just so I can mod it.

If corruption, inbreeding and greed were the only qualities needed for one to be elected as a politician, Rockstar could form its own government, inhabited by the descendants of the apes, which still play this game, who joined the human gene pool by interspecies mixing, and whose primal, cave dwelling neurons, mistake this money laundering scheme of a program as a "fun", "enjoyable" and "not at all bad" game.
-2/10, I wish I could take the time I spent on this game back and invest it in watching grass grow.

This WAS a fun game, but then rockstar decided to "enhance" their game with kernel level spyware because they don't understand what server side anti cheat is. Then they also force this spyware on people who just want to enjoy the single player game.

Better then enhanced, no bugs, no false bans, everything works as it should do.

Story mode is absolute peak, while online is also fun, especially with friends. However, you get to a certain point where gta online just kind of becomes boring once you do (and buy all the necessary buildings) most missions.

Hey, why the CUSS would you take this game off the market to replace this game with the same game??? It's the same game!!!!! CUSS!!!!!!!!! Please for the love of God, release the old San Andreas, Vice City, GTA III and GTA 4 with old graphics back onto the steam store. I do not care how many bugs there are. If there's someone out there who doesn't own a good computer and they can only play older, cheep, crappy looking games with their integrated graphics I know they would do anything for a twenty year old Rockstar game sold on the low for 10 dollars. I was that person at one part of my life. Trying to get by playing a DIGITAL (not CD) copy of Vice City I bought on Steam for 10$ that brought me 50+ hours of fun. More accessibility for anyone to play your games means you get a better rep as a developer, not just letting greed consume you whole to release a new GTA 6 for 100$ thats just a reskin of GTA 5 only in Vice city in 2 years time. This is no dice. Rockstar is bad, I tell you.

Can't play the game any more, because it's tied to a Rockstar Game Social Club account I don't have access to any more. Support won't help, so I'm now being locked out of a game that belongs to me. Goodbye, Rockstar.

Old Steal Vehicles is fun to play and mod

Still one of the best open world games out there. You can explore the city, cause chaos, or just mess around. The world feels alive, and theres always something to do.

And GTA Online? Insane amount of content and activities. Youll never get bored—missions, heists, races, and more. Theres literally always something new to do. But seriously, dont even get me started on the hackers and griefers—its just ridiculous sometimes. Still, the game is packed with fun if you can avoid that mess.

8/10 – Classic open-world fun. Online has endless content, but hackers and griefers can really kill the vibe.

Hackers and griefers will do anything just to ruin your experience, but I'm going to recommend it because it has an amazing single-player story.

Good way to keep your mind off things and to relax whether you like to grind for money or play with friends for fun some of the newer missions are boring and some players can be toxic but 8/10 none the less

So much better than expanded and enhanced, literally feels like the best game i've ever played after playing expanded and enhanced. I really really hate expanded and enhanced, but this one is dope.

Why would they take the grenades out of expanded and enhanced? Why is every plane the velum in expanded and enhanced? Why did expanded and enhanced invade my privacy and sell my data to china?

I don't know the answer to these questions, but expanded and enhanced has left me wondering, did we really need to expand and enhance what was already perfect?

I switched from the Rockstar Launcher, and guess what? ALL my progress is still there! 😍🌸 It’s honestly amazing how everything carried over so smoothly. Rockstar really did that! 💅💫 The graphics, the gameplay, and the open world are just everything! 🌆💖 It feels like my own cute lil’ adventure every time I log in! 💃💕 Seriously, if you haven’t switched yet, DO IT! You won’t regret it! 🌟🎮

10 minute to start each time because the rockstar launcher needs to update. would be nice if the resolution saved the settings instead of returning to windowed 800x600.

I grinded for hours, bought a supercar, and then immediately wrapped it around a tree. Now I’m broke and doing liquor store heists for pocket change. Meanwhile, some NPC just called me a ‘stupid fuck,’ so I had to run him over. Now I have five stars, a tank is chasing me, and I’m escaping on a fucking bicycle. Nothing in this game makes sense, and that’s why it’s perfect. Every session is a mix of stupid decisions, bad driving, and crimes I definitely didn’t mean to commit. 10/10, would punch a random pedestrian again just to see what happens.

Never played the story. Never played it online. Only booted it up to watch my gf try to steal different cars and cause mayhem LOL. This was fun for about 20 hours.

They make you login to play, they brick your game until you login. If you turn on wifi on steamdeck and aren't playing GTA5, they shut it down if you aren't online afterwards and make you get online to play. This is bullshit, I would recommend not paying for this game, getting it pirated and be able to play it when you want. I regret giving them money, thanks rockstar, you taught me a lesson. No more paying for games.

Want to preface with I play GTA online constantly ever since 2014 and probably still will until 6 drops. I'm angry. The online mode is stuffed so full of useless content that it's a chore to play. I know its because of shark cards, but lowering payouts for everything and jacking up prices for buildings/cars/weapons/EVERYTHING makes me want to buy shark cards LESS. GTA+ is just pitiful, like maybe just release GTA6 instead???? Everything is so expensive that even with all of the stuff that I own, I still grind basically 100% of the time. I've bought shark cards before, but everything in-game is so expensive you can blow through a shark card buying one business and car. I'm not going to drop 100+ dollars on a game I've already paid 60+dollars for, when even that barely gives you anything. The police cars (useless) are 5,000,000$????? Like really? Way to take the fun out of every aspect of your game. Also, NO TEXT CHAT? Why make this online at all? The game is 18+ and you have in-game characters saying all kinds of slurs but noooooo text chat i guess. The graphics update literally gives me a headache. My gameplay loop has been this for the past few years; Load in, Restock business, check Nightclub, get a call my business is raided, Drive to business, Get instantly blown up/killed by NPC aimbots, Lose money, Restart business, Get another call Business is raided, repeat, Do a business sale if I have a second, Buy one single thing, Lose ~2million, Get a call my other business got raided (and YES I PAID FOR security upgrade at each location), Run to each 5 business over and over and over and over and oh look now its 2am and I haven't even started the setup that pays nothing for the heist that also pays less than a business sale, do mission where NPC will not stop talking even during shoot outs, Get blown up because helicopters and cops keep spawning no matter what, and CONSTANT spam texts screaming at me to buy another business, do another raid, do another mission. This is worse than my actual real life job. The gameplay loop just sucks so bad and everything is so expensive that I have neither the real life time or the means to do anything actually fun in Online, which is also the only thing Rockstar seems to care about. Unfortunately I am an adult, and have a life, so the game becomes a chore to play if I don't log on every day.

Lovely game i just had problem with dlc not working in online it just shows me loading in the menu of the game.
Wish i could fix that, i sent a support request to rockstar hope they respond soon...

lost access to old email and rock* refuses to change the email on my social account or unlink my account from the game all of my hours on PC AND XBOX lost because of Rock*'s dumb social system to push their garbage launcher.

Grinded the shit out of GTA Online back on PS4 days, lots of fun! Was hoping to do the same on Steam since I swapped over to PC.....holy shit online is unplayable. Cant do anything without a hacker fucking your shit up, extremely annoying and instantly uninstalled the game. Super kill joy, really sad how cheaters ruin great games.

After reinstalling the game again this year and noticed that you had to install battleEye to play online content for the game that i had previously spent 503 hours is ridiculous regardless of anti-cheats players will still find ways to circumvent it. Mandatory kernel level anti cheat i guess its a good time to leave the game.
