Pretty awesome, beat this game on green knight and now that it is done, I gotta do 100% on every character

truly one of the best games of the generation. from the 360 in the living room to goofing off with friends on steam. this game never fails to make you laugh at its awesome stupidity while having some of the best gameplay you'll ever have (including all of its perks) there is a reason this game is overwhelmingly positive. so many different ways to play the game with how you unlock a new one after almost every game completion. buy buy buy

was disappointed with how laggy the steam version is in comparison to consul. fun lighthearted game though. i recommend you play with friends as its allot more fun.

A quintessential piece of my childhood, absolutely love this game.

If you have 4 players - I would recommend this game.... However;

It was good fun playing this with my boyfriend till we got to a volley ball level which seems impossible without 4 players. We tried over and over to bypass this part, but eventually gave up in frustration as the AI has 4 players and we have 2 - and simply cant run fast enough - especially with the depth perception issues this game presents. Even if we got 2 other players to come play with us, we were already 19 levels in... so I guess this is where we call it quits - another game to the trash heap, never to be completed. Bummer.

Battleblock theater is way better, I recommend passing this and playing that instead. You'll get the fun campy art and story, the crude humor and everything else - just done better.

I've beaten this game on other storefronts many times over. It's one of the best brawlers out there, and a surefire way to have a blast playing something with friends if you're all up for something with couch co-op.

Castle Crashers is the video game equivalent of chugging five energy drinks and trying to joust a raccoon with a stick—pure, chaotic brilliance.

You start as a colorful little knight on a noble quest to save princesses, but somewhere along the way you're fighting cyclopses, riding on deer that violently evacuate themselves through the forest, and battling a giant corn monster that explodes into popcorn. Nothing makes sense. Everything is perfect.

Combat? Glorious button-mashing madness. Story? Shakespeare wishes. Multiplayer? It's friendship-ruining gold-hoarding betrayal wrapped in a Saturday morning cartoon.

And the boss fights? They range from "mildly concerning" to "what in the medieval acid trip did I just witness?"

This game is dumb in the most intelligent way possible. 11/10, would swordfight a bear in a wedding chapel again.

I been playing Castle crashers for a long while. Played on the xbox 360 and xobx one. Then after the dlc got announced bought it on steam. Always mained the green knight

It has the best parts of classic beat-em-ups combined with addictive RPG elements and unlockables for tons of replayability. Can't believe this awesome game has only ever been $15!

The game is really fun and addicting because you can replay it on many diffrent charecters to get more charecters and to get even more!
But you can rage at it every so often but i really do recommend it because its just a really fun game!

Castle Crashers is a great game, expansive gameplay lots of characters, and endless fun. You can unlock millions of pets and weapons too. There's multiple game modes, and arenas all over the map where you can challenge youself against the other players your with, or if your singleplayer waves of enemies. You can also unlock the enemies and bosses as characters. Would recommend.

i didn't have fun with this 2D action arcade game but i know others will. controller and friends recommended.

sucks to play alone because enemys with bows can just keep hitting you because it takes a short time to reload the bow and you fall down for about the same time it takes for the enemy to reload the bow

This game is very awesome. there's always something to do or somewhere to go! the humor is great and its amazing to play with friends! i still haven't beaten insane mode but i hope to in near future. the fights are tough, the characters you can play have variety, and most other games you try to 100% are boring and time consuming, but castle crashers makes it fun!

Yes, the game play is mostly button mashing. Yes, it is made for controller. Yes, it's music was mostly from Newgrounds due to the behemoth working with the creator of Newgrounds. Yes, it is a fun game. Yes, the multiplayer is good. Yes, the singleplayer is good. If I had to sum up this game in one word, it would be "The dried mango slices of games.".

10/10 game, I have 24 hours on this game and I am addicted to this game seriously, I have not been so addicted to a game since Binding of Isaac, and the soundtrack is banger! If you like beat em ups or hilarious jokes then this game is for YOU and I will be buying the Painter Boss Paradise DLC and i am exited for Behemoths future projects. if you are playing multiplayer save the last Princess for your friend, just trust me and you will thank me later

This game was one of the staples of my childhood, and it holds up to today (especially with the new DLC that's coming out this year).

It's a truly epic game. I've only played the steam version for a bit, most of my experience is with xbox, and honestly there isn't a difference here if you use a controller. I don't, prefer mouse and keyboard but yeah it's way worth it. Silly humor, whimsical boss fights, and and epic soundtrack to go with it. And works on slower computers, so there's a plus.

I played the demo for hours before I bought the game and I do not regret it for a second. Thoroughly enjoying beating this game with friends and family repeatedly.

I played it back on the 360 and to this day remains a staple game for my friends and I to throw on if we can't think of something else to play since we know that no matter what, it's going to be a good time. Trying to go through the game playing different characters or different challenges make the game feel like it can be played over and over again. For the prices that it reaches when it's on sale, its a no brainer to add it to your library.

Hilarious beat em up adventure with a unique cast of characters. Can be a slog if you pick the wrong characters because some just flat out SUCK. I would advise picking Red Knight and upgrading magic to the max as quick as possible. Grab a few friends, beat the crap out of weird and whacky fantasy enemies but most importantly rescue the princesses!

one of, if not the best games of all time imo. I have spent countless hours doing playthroughs on different characters but it is still so much fun. The mix of humor, fighting, and plotline make it truly one-of-a-kind. If you are considering getting castle crashers, you should!
