Some of the best "fast paced" platforming around. The musical finales are wonderful.

Revisiting after they just added Steam achievement syncing. Alas the severs are shut down so no more new daily/weekly challenge levels, but there's still levels I never finished (or even got to) when I first played.

DRM sucks! Ubisoft sucks! The game does not work on Windows 11 24H2. After seeing news about achievements, I thought it would be nice to give it another go. I tried it on 2 different Win11 machines with intel and AMD cpus, but I was unable to run the game. I made a third try with a Win 10 machine and it run.

This is game is good, but it's so expensive. Achievements are fine except 1.000.000 Lums since online is gone its a pain to get those Lums. The game lacks content. 10 hours of gameplay its very short for this price. There is levels from Rayman Origins, but this is not new content. Love the game, but it's too short and the grind for Lums its just not fun.

This is one of the first platformer games I've ever played. I remember playing this game as a kid on the xbox 360 and being stunned by the beautiful art, the enjoyable and engaging gameplay mechanics and the fantastic and wonderful world of charming characters this game has to offer (WHAT?! I'm running out of adjectives already?!). To this day, I can still say this is one of the best platformers I have ever played, and I really mean that. There are also steam achevements in the game now, so now is a really good time to check the game out if you haven't already. You still need to have ubisoft connect though, which is a seperate game lancher ubisoft is using for their games. I've heared that there's a way to make the game launch without ubisoft connect, but if you don't want to mess with the game's files and don't like the idea of installing a seperate launcher just to play the game, than this version of the game might not be for you.

Its 2D Rayman man, you can't go wrong with that. Fantastic game, of course.

rayman moves like a parkour master and its very satifsying and fun. this game also really really good on steam deck it's one of the only games i know thats actually a better experience on steam deck than with pc&keyboard

What's the point of a game being on STEAM if I need an entire different game launcher to play said game?

Good game, but I'm not going to make a whole new account just to be able to play it.

A game that propably alongside minecraft was the start of my gaming journey. I propably will find it fun to play even in 20 years time.

Infuriating platformer from 2013. Ubisoft finally added Steam achievements to it, but they did not put the global scoreboard flex your skill be the best *challenges* back online. In 2025. Ubisoft pls. What is wrong with you.

Play it if you suck at platform games and want to be angry at yourself.

10/10 rage game trying to 100% this absolute cu*t of a game, if you're a completionist with anger issues this game will probably cost you a keyboard or two

This game is one of the best feeling games you could ever pick up. There aren't really better words to describe it, playing it just feels right. It's not my favorite game by any means, but I don't think I've ever had more fun controlling a character.

But it has some serious issues because of that shitty launcher. Like my save files doesn't work properly and in COOP controllers doesnt work well enough

Fun and challenging family game.

To me, Rayman Legends is probably the closest to be a perfect game. Nearly every single thing about it is done flawlessly. The visuals, the music, the level design, the bosses, character design, the replayability, the unlockables! But to me, the best thing that Rayman Legends accomplishes is the controls. I NEVER felt like I don't have control over Rayman and it never felt stiff like in Origins. He feels smooth, responds perfectly to my inputs and because of it, the underwater levels feel like a dream!

The only things I dislike were the arcade levels and how non-existent the story was. The arcade levels suffer from the fact that they feature real 8-bit or retro graphics, they just have a bunch of filters and called it a day. Pretty lazy if you ask me. The story is completely irrelevant and while that may have been the point, it really just makes the advanture feel somewhat dissjointed. No world really don't feels like they belong in the same world.

Nevertheless, Rayman Legends, in my opinion, is a true masterpiece and is easily the greatest 2D platformer of all time.

Was bundled with other Rayman games.
The game entirely is not working, unless you want to install 3rd party tools and softwares and make accounts every time something goes wrong with Ubisoft or they simply feels like it.

It's a shame because this type of company model harms developers, games, and the customers who just want to be able to play what they bought.
Remove the 3rd party nonsense please. It's not worth going bankrupt over it.

I am frequently playing this game 4 player local co-op. It is supreme. The mechanics are great, the music is awesome and the pace is fast.

The game is amazing, especially the final level of each chapter. The music is fantastic, the platforming is excellent, and every time I play a level, I eagerly anticipate reaching the musical stage. If you haven't played it yet, don't wait buy it, hit the play button, and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of Rayman!

This is a great game that I play with my 6 year old daughter, and she loves it too

Like I Shouldn't have to install Bloatware that I don't want on My PC
Like Ubisoft I paid you Money for This game & I'm still forced to install what is basically a Huge Ad, I Bought the Game on Steam Which means that I should also be allowed to actually play it on Steam
Origins didn't force you to install The Ubisoft Virus
Also I shouldn't have to Create a Ubisoft account for an Offline Single player game
Valve please ban Third party launchers

Anyways the game itself is great but I Still Strongly Prefer Origins

I really like this game, I used to play a lot when I was a kid with my sister and cousins, so it's very nostalgic for me. The only thing I would really change are the mechanics for Murphy, or to just minimize his usage throughout the series because it becomes more of a hassle to get him to do what you actually need him to accomplish than it would be to just do it with your character. but overall, this is a very good game, you can tell a lot of time, attention and detail was put into it, and all the levels have just enough challenge to where it's attention keeping, but at the same time, you're also able to relax and enjoy it.

Rayman Legends is a good game and has a ton of content. The levels are fun and it adapts the same gameplay style as Origins, which is one of my favorite 2D platformers of all time. It even has a decent number of levels adapted from Origins. HOWEVER...

Don't get the Steam version unless you want to speedrun the game. The online servers for the Challenges mode were taken offline a few years ago, and the Steam page was NEVER updated to reflect that. Plus, it's practically the same as any other 7th generation version.

That being said, I do recommend the game on Switch. It's got more content and still has online support. It goes on sale quite frequently over there.

good game bad maker like any game thats ubisoft takes forever just to get in and play the game like i have riders republic which every other time i try to play it wount let me for like absoultely no reason also half the game is behind a pay wall but other than that yeah but if you can get it on console not worth getting it here ubisoft is dog water

when i played this game, rayman stole my house. i regret buying this game at 3am. please how do i get it back

Controller not supported. I've used my 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ controller with many Steam games, it always just works. For some reason it does not work at all with this game. I double checked with other games that it is not the controller. Maybe this game would be good if I could actually play it. I'm not going to play a platformer with mouse and keyboard.

Very creative and fun. Pretty animations and artstyle. Bunch of collectibles, extras, unlockables and replayability. The music levels are extraordinary and I really enjoyed them. Overall a pretty great platformer. (9/10)

Edit: Literally unplayable whenever the ubisoft servers are down, even in offline mode. This could possibly make this game permanently unplayable in the future.

Since the game is actually great and it only happened to me once so far, I'll keep this review on positive. But whenever I feel like it happens more often or the servers entirely shuts down, I'll update my review to a negative one. (8/10)

The nostalgia of playing this is incredible, and it's worth buying Legends because you can play the Origins stages.
The only flaw is not having achievements, seriously, put achievements in this

The game is pretty interesting and fun to play but the game launcher is sh*t, it force you to create an ubisoft account, i literally spent over half an hour debugging the app in order to start the game, and on top of that i also had to change the controller layout thorough steam settings because the in game one was just broken and by default the the buttons are mixed

After 100% the game i must say it is definetely the best rayman game. But with the servers being off for a pretty long time it is sad. I can't recommend it enough.

According to Ubisoft and my game library i own this game, and i remember playing it (16 hours played). But when i try to play the game it says its linked to another email adress which i dont recognize at all.
