VR Support
Take your tabletop gaming to a whole new level in virtual reality with the HTC Vive & Oculus Rift! And what's more, both VR and non-VR players alike can play together in the same game room!
About the Game
Create your own original games, import custom assets, automate games with scripting, set up complete RPG dungeons, manipulate the physics, create hinges & joints, and of course flip the table when you are losing the game. All with an easy to use system integrated with Steam Workshop. You can do anything you want in Tabletop Simulator. The possibilities are endless!
Endless Games
Tabletop Simulator has it all. The base game includes 15 classics like Chess, Poker, Jigsaw Puzzles, Dominoes, and Mahjong. Additionally, there are thousands of community created content on the Workshop. If you’re the tabletop gaming type, we include an RPG Kit which has tilesets & furniture, as well as animated figurines that you can set up and battle with your friends, with even more options in the Chest. There’s even an option for Game Masters so they can control the table!

Create Games
If you’re into creativity and prototyping, you can easily create your own games by importing images onto custom boards & tables, create custom decks, import 3D models, create scripts, and much more. You can choose to upload your creations on the Steam Workshop or share them privately with your friends.

Fun For All Ages
Everyone can play Tabletop Simulator! Play a classic board game with grandma, have poker night with the guys, or start your epic RPG adventure with your crew. Play almost any tabletop game you can think of! Being a multiplayer-focused game, up to 10 players can play at any given time.

DLCs
Our downloadable content (DLCs) are different from other games, as we partner with developers and publishers to bring their games into Tabletop Simulator. Each DLC is custom created with high quality assets and special themes that match their games. And best of all, only the host needs to own the DLC for everyone at the table to play.

You can make your own board game ideas come to life. Either for playtesting purposes or as an official release.
You can even script your interactions and not have to do everything manually like with a physical board game using Lua script.
Great way to play multiple board games with friends online. Also nice to ease set-up and clean-up
It may be strange to discover Tabletop Simulator in 2025, but the simulator is actually very user-friendly, with hotkeys and a huge number of games in the workshop. Personally, I found all the board games I played IRL and they were all perfectly adapted.
Pretty dependent on mods/workshop, but it works pretty dang well. VR implementation is a B-, pretty decent but struggles a bit depending on hardware and number of objects. Cool software!
A great way to play board games with friends if you can't meet them physically.
totally under priced if you like board/card games. infinite fun, infinite possibilities. huge MTG commander stuff
A fantastic way to play board games and tabletop games digitally, and the Workshop has a lot of content for various games, making it very easy to get started with whatever you want to play
Simple simulator for almost any board game or card game. easy to use, works pretty good.
it was perfect, perfect, everything, down to the last minute details, especially the modders
also really worth the price
My friend is trying to develop a board game, and I get to use this to try out my friend's prototypes. That makes it way easier to iterate and help him out. So that's pretty cool. :)
Takes some getting used to the navigation/setup, especially if your mod/game doesn't infile the models correctly, but overall really great tool for getting friends together for irl fun online. Table flip 10/10 when it actually works.
I've been using TTS at the recommendation of several of my gaming club's members to play Warhammer 40k online, when unable to attend club in person. So far, the game has been invaluable to me, allowing me to not only play the game I love through a few mods, but also allowing me to test play models and work out their usefulness before committing to buying expensive models!
Step 1: Buy game to play Catan
Step 2: Buy actual Catan game, and use this for old board games that aren't in production
Step 3: Profit
Shadow Hunters? That's worth $300!
I've been playing D&D on this platform for about two years now, and I have to say it's probably my favorite way to do so. It's easy to play these story-enriching games with people worldwide, as you would with a game on your dining room table with your friends sitting around it.
The game itself is pretty self-explanatory: Tabletop Simulator. It feels and acts like a tabletop without the actual food and water components (unless you add those in). There's thousands of setups to choose from, and the modded community around this game is insane; you can add anything into it if you know how to code it.
I will continue to use Tabletop in the future for D&D and any other authentic board games to play with my friends across the world. Sure, it can get buggy when you start adding in hundreds of chips to keep track of, but I do enjoy what this game has to offer, and the possibilities are endless.
If you are looking for a way to make your D&D sessions, or board game nights more vibrant with people not near you, I highly recommend this game. Although there is a speech button (It might be T?), I use discord for calling while at it.
And for the love of dice, PLEASE DON'T FLIP THE TABL-
An excellent resource for trying out board games, playing familiar table top games or just solving a custom jigsaw puzzle. With the community workshop there are hours of entertainment here, even for a solo player.
It's basically the best value proposition for a game you can buy, if you like board games. The workshop community is so amazing, 95% of the games I've wanted to play, people have made, usually with great scripting and automation stuff. 10/10
I play magic with my friends that are on the other side of the state. It really brings small communities together
Find yourself some friends that don't flip the table every 5 seconds and this game will be great 👍
If you're gonna play board games and cards online, this is the game to play board games and cards online in
Almost every board game is available on the steam workshop. One of the best value games you could buy.
best simulator ever made. You can literally play any board game and do even more here.
Great for gaming when you can't get together. Workshop is fantastic
Many a game to be played for a low cost. Very cool that a lot of designers/publishers allow their games to be posted onto workshop
!! Not an ACTUAL GAME!!
This is a utility for running games and you will either need to purchase DLC (or get free versions on the Steam Workshop). It works amazingly well for DnD campaigns as well as MTG and Warhammer 40k. It can be played solo as there are some multiplayer lobbies that users will host but it's better if it's used within a friend group as a means to play games together.
Each person will need their own copy of tabletop sim to be able to play.
Achievements were nice but some were so annoyingly frustrating that I just went ahead and ground them out (honestly wish this didn't have achievements). Especially the 1000 hours one. Did I leave the game open in the background to farm that? - You bet I did! Otherwise I'd literally never reach it at the rate I was playing. Even one of my most played games (outside of The Isle) doesn't have 1000+ hours in it. As someone who likes to 100% games this was one of the ones that was messing with my completion rate. So I farmed it, and now it's not, and I can enjoy it as is. :) [You don't need to do this, don't feel obligated]
I still highly recommend this if you want a great tool for playing games with your friends (or family) or if you're running or playing in a campaign and want something more visual.
This changed so much for me as a DM. I can't recommend this enough for any D&D or Magic player! Thank you to all of the modders who spent so much time making this game an even better tool for ttrpg players and game runners.
An absolutely amazing game, especially if you want to design your own trading card game!
It has been very useful for my gaming group that is rather widespread throughout the world.
Great simulator for any table games. Pure fun with friends if you cant get together irl, or with online friends.
Yipee, Warhammer for 10$
No Ranald, No Shuwa Shuwa Strong, 10/10 Gam- WARHAMMER FANTASY? GUYS RANALD IS HERE RUN!
peak gaming experience . you don't even need the workshop . find three friends (good luck with that) , import a set of playing cards and holy mother of hell its fun 10 / 10
Wide variety of games.
Able to play with friends online.
Creative possibilities.
Makes it very easy to play board-games and card games with friends who are distant
It's a great game that has allowed me to see what a board game is about before buying the physical copy. It's also been a source of great online fun with my friends over the years. If you are into boardgaming, it's a very worthwhile pickup!
Been using this to host D&D and PF sessions with friends for the past 8 years. A little janky to work with (it is 10 years old), but easy to use once you are comfortable with it.
Versatile and great game to play with friends.
super easy to use and you can do so much with it. Amazing workshop community as well
really fun to play with friends, can play many board games with people remotely or just play board games that you don't have a physical version of with people in couch co-op.
The best game you can buy.
Playing role play board games from anywhere is priceless
Great tools for boardgaming with friends.
The workshops and user made content are incredible.
I use it for Warhammer 40k - the community has built so much I've barely scratched the surface.
Flipping Tables is so far the greatest feature of this game, I think the game is bugged because friends aren't spawning in. Other than that peak!
Great for long distance game nights. Theirs a mod for most board games.
This game is only good with friends who also have the game, never by yourself. Also only if your able to find good mods for extra games you might want to play.

Saving me so much money
10$ on sale for nearly every boardgame in existence.
The value is incredible.
Highly recommend Warhammer 40k if you do get this game, relatively easy to setup.
I've somehow lost 50 hours into 40k in the span of 5 days.
Honestly worth 20$ when its not on sale.
it is what it is, nearly a perfect tabletop sim and the best one out there. nothing else to write about it.
Tired of Hasbro emptying your wallet? Don't live close to your friends? Want to play every tabletop game ever after one purchase? Then TTS is the game for you.
the mods let the amount of games available to play diverse into so many options
This is a computer overlord "game master" for the Descent 2: Journeys in the Dark boardgame. You MUST own the boardgame to use this, tough you can use resources like Tabletop Simulartor for this. It is not at all like a human overlord, it doesn't try to be intelligent, but it gains additional resources making fun, interesting, and challenging games. It offers several game modes, the one we use is campaign mode where you play a series of scenarios with the same group of heroes, advancing over time. You can do one-offs using the Rise of the Goblins mini-campaign.
You buy this for the workshop content. IRL board games are increasingly crazy expensive, and the ability to 'try before you buy' especially with some of these Kickstarter games that cost $200+ is invaluable (even euros these days are being sold in 'deluxe' versions at $100+).
If you're into board games it will never replace IRL games as even with some excellent scripted mods it is a bit fiddly. It will also not be as good as official board game apps, as those will have better controls/UI/AI options.
But it is 100% worth it, and almost a must have (so long as you have friends to play with).
Fun game with lots of possibilities for custom gameplay.
