Finally got the game and the first thing i did was make a shlong out of barrels and swing it around

After years and years of being out, this is still one of the best games ever to exist

Garry’s Mod is good for those who love the play maps/mods from workshop, and a lot of other thing u can do with this game, even messing around in this game is fun, 100% Recommended

If you're into puzzle games, this one is an ultimatum that would put your braincells into the test.
-Challenge yourself by porting SFM models and give them physics with the Advance Bone Tool
-Create illusions that'd give you an idea on how photography in general works
-Discover which models have separate textures with the Submaterial Tool
And that's just the scratching the surface, this game can be a virtual exhibitor of figurines or your personal canvas.

really good if you have friends, i dont have any, so its only mildly fun.

Still my favourite game to play, mainly due to the interactions I have with people.

I played this a lot back when I was a kid. In fact, Gmod is the reason I ever got steam to begin with! Although I have not really played it in almost a decade (wow I feel so old...) the memories of all my joy are never forgotten! The community was often very kind and funny. Classic games such as TTT and Prop hunt were some unforgettably fun memories. "Guess who" was honestly my favorite game ever when I was younger, I really miss playing that. Endless possibilities for fun to be had. Gmod is just a classic that everyone must experience. The nostalgia is really hitting me as I type this review out.

once you figure out how to install mods it is impossible to get bored playing it

Garry's Mod is the ultimate sandbox experience—pure, unrestricted creativity mixed with chaotic fun. With over 1000 hours in the game, I’ve seen everything from hilarious DarkRP shenanigans to mind-blowing custom game modes that push the Source engine to its limits.

The best part of Gmod is its modding community. Whether it was building on OG servers like CancerRP or running wild in TTT-Fun DarkRP, there was always something fresh to dive into. Lua scripting allowed for nearly limitless customization, making every server feel unique.

Of course, Gmod isn’t without flaws. The physics can be janky, and loading into certain servers can take forever thanks to massive addon lists. But despite that, it still holds up as one of the best multiplayer sandbox games ever made.

Even after 1000+ hours, it never truly gets old.

This game is very fun to play, assuming you play with addons cause the base game only allows you to play with the hl2 assets... but then again, why would you not play with mods, when it has mod in the title. It's just ridiculous and funny. It's also nostalgic because I grew up watching videos of the game but only started playing it recently. Play it, it's no doubt great late night party fun.

If you want the experience you would've had years ago, just avoid the front page. There are still good addons out there, and hell most of the old ones still function unless they were taken down due to relating to copyrighted material. Arguably the most iconic sandbox of the last couple decades and for a good reason.

After my wife left me i felt so down,but after laying this game i realized i could G00n to alstofo all day and it made me happy.So i recommend to players wondering if they should buy it

The best sandbox game of all time. The physics, the communities, the mods, the engine, you name it, always a grand time.

I really hope this review reaches the right person. StarWars rp is the best thing to ever exist since Coke (the drink lol silly willy) I've made countless memories while roleplaying as a clone trooper. I met a friend who will forever be bound to my soul for his countless hours and guidance on the roleplay server. Thank you Thomas Stroud aka Chippy of the 41St you will remain in my mind until the end of time.

Melhor jogo sandbox que já joguei, Garry's mod se destacou pra mim totalmente não só pela sua física muito realista mas também pela imensidão de mods do Workshop permitindo o jogador expandir sua experiência imensamente.

Alguns Pontos positivos :

1- Jogo leve :
Roda na maioria dos Pcs fracos sem problemas (como o meu Celeron 10007U), claro que alguns addons podem deixar a experiencia mais "lagada" que o jogo base.

2-Jogo totalmente customizavel :
Mapas, armas, npcs, e diversas entidades interativas, isso é só o topo do Iceberg de todas as possibilidades que voce poderá encontrar de customizar sua experiência ao máximo.

3- tem suporte a vários dos jogos Valve:
Ao adiquirir outros jogos Valve voce tem a vantagem de manipular modelos 3d, armas e etc outros items desses jogos dentro do Garry's mod (alguns só possíveis instalando alguns addons), mas com eles voce tem a vantagem de transformar sua experiencia em algo novo.

Pontos negativos :
1- VOCE VAI FICAR VICIADO, E NUNCA VAI CONSEGUIR TER UMA VIDA. :)
