This is an older game but still a lot of fun and educational
Ever wondered what it takes to get to space? This is the game for you.
Includes an extensive tutorial, and if you play in career mode with extra cash, it has missions that slowly introduce you to different missions.
Very cool game. Poor Jeb is stuck orbiting the sun tho. Other than that 10/10 game, would kill Val again
One of the best physics sims, even better with mods.
A staple experience for all space enthusiasts, and definitely worth a try.
The sequel has had/still has many problems(to say the very least).
But this game is and will always be a timeless and enjoyable classic.
10/10 kind of a grind pretty hard but some much fun along the way
Played for a while got to mun left kerbal want to other planet left onother kerbal, leavin kerbals on every planet new goal 10/10
this game is great it has so much to provide in the base game and there is so much more you can do with mods and this game has made me love space that much more
I think this game is single-handedly responsible for the new space race and dozens of new space companies. To put it simply: If you want to feel like one of the Space Billionaires without the slight drawback of having zero scruples and exploiting thousands of people, this game is for you. Though zero scruples are probably beneficial anyway, since you'll be watching Jeb collide with the ground quite a lot.
Also, it is extremely addictive despite still being buggy as hell.
Best way to learn Orbital Mechanics, and in a really fun way! The only thing missing is some Achievements/Trophies. Oh, and if you are thinking about buying KSP2 instead, don't. This is the game, the other is abandoned.
Dont know why I waited so long to play this. If you like engineering stuff for hours (and then blowing up anyway) all in the glory of the cosmos, this game is for you
one of the best game to ever exist (within game go to "community" and add mods). This game is good ~100 hours play on it's own and it's infinite with ~20 core mods. With that said - installing mods is not exactly easy and is a game in itself as not all mods are compatible with the current version. So - make a "stable copy" folder of the game before adding new mods.
I have only 11 hours on this account, but I just came back after ~5 years break. This game is truly amazing. ..again - with mods, it's like EVE online (minus the online part 😂), but you build all the shit yourself. Like - literally. Like lego. And there's planets/muns exploration.
Ecxelent game! I wanted this game since years ago, and now i have it. Thanks to the hero who put the game in -75% now i was able to buy it.
Very fun game. If you're into rockets and space, you'll love this game. Even when your creations fail it's still fun and entertaining.
Difficult to learn, even more difficult to master, and damn good fun.
I've played for ~650 hours total combined on console and PC, and all i can say is that KSP is one of the most replayable experiences out there. Dispite the large and active modding community, the base game alone has an enormous amount of potential on its own. Iterating on previous rocket designs and learning from your failures is a core part of the experience, and the feeling of the reward of a successful landing or a hefty contract completed will always keep me coming back. an easy 9/10 game, and one of my personal favorites of all time.
and side note, if you're a new player or looking to buy the game, quick word of advice. Play the tutorials. Sure, It might be boring and confusing, but they help to smooth out the harsh learning curve.
Although Difficult, the time spent getting to know the game is worth it. You won't find a space game like this anywhere else. It is very polished.
I've always been a fan of KSP. I own it on the XBOX and have played 100's of hours on it. I recently switched to a PC and saw the bundle on sale for KSP. Of course I bought it. Now I can play the same game I REALLY ENJOYED on the XBOX and enjoy it even more on my PC. (So many MODS on PC) I've seen what happened with KSP2 and it's really a shame. BUT the good thing is we have KSP 1 and with so many MODS to choose from for graphics etc it was an OBVIOUS choice what to buy. I'll probably never not play this game lol. KSP 1 IS KING. AMAZING GAME. If you don't own this game you should add it to your library. <3 KSP
Oh and BIG shout out to the KSP community! KSP wouldn't be what it is today without you. THANK YOU
1: buy the game
2: no idea what am doing
3: replay the tutorials for the 10th time
4: still no idea what am doing
10/10 game
Only says I've played for 18 minutes, but I've spent a lot more time on modded installs that don't track. Even if I did only play for 18 minutes, I'd still recommend this game. Whole lot of fun, and mods aren't even necessary to enjoy it.
- Build a rocket
- Put a literal bean person in it
- Explode
- Repeat
10/10 would recommend to anyone who likes space and rockets
Fire and fun game especially with mods (that's where it starts to get even more fun then it already was)
this game is awesome, with awesome community. mods are awesome. u can basically create your own ksp 2 and more with mods. also u actually learn basics of real life space science, which is massive +
(build rocket, funny Bean people scream as you force them to experience ten times the recommended G-forces, do science, Great success 👍)
Played it first on the Xbox One, which was probably a bad idea. But played it on here, and it's pretty good.
I hope KSP 2 pulls off what we're all hoping for. Heard its had major delays, tho...?
7/10
Good game if you like aviation aeronautical and aerospace simulations. Not the best graphic quality but fun experience.
The best of the best in space simulation with more mods than you an possibly imagine. I play in a real version of the solar system with historical parts and contracts. The sky it Not the Limit!
Very steep learning curve, but worth sticking with it. The tutorials are ok, but honestly you're better off starting in career mode and learning the tutorials as you go or watching you tube videos on how to do things.
I recommend this game if you're looking for a mental challenge and are willing to learn new things (like how orbits actually work!). Oh and you're going to need plenty of patience too.
good. Runs smoothly on i5 and above without mods. better than the second
steep learning curve & requires resilience but an amazing game overall
(i recomend downloading mods like waterfall or eve clouds)
Fuck this game. I fucking HATE this game. Its a piece of shit, buggy mess that has a learning curve the size of your first orbit.
So why can't I stop playing it?
KSP1 with visual mods is way better than buggy KSP2 that costs $60.
The game is challenging and yet simple. You can easily lose time while adventuring into space and exploring.

honestly, if you want alot of parts get this game but for graphics get the second one
Kerbal Space Program is a game that strikes the perfect balance between fun, science, and creativity. The premise is simple: you build rockets and spacecraft to send the adorable Kerbals into space – but behind that simplicity is a complex physics engine that requires you to understand real engineering principles to succeed.
The physics are fascinating! From liftoff to landing, you need to calculate thrust, orbits, and trajectory vectors with precision. Miss a single detail, and your mission could end in an explosion (which, to be fair, is always a bit fun, even when it’s frustrating).
The developers have consistently updated the game, and the community continues to contribute with mods. From new rocket components to more intricate mission goals, there's always something to add to the experience. If you're into space exploration and science, this game will absolutely scratch that itch.
Another major highlight is the freedom you get. You can build a simple rocket or tackle ambitious space projects like traveling to other planets or even colonizing foreign bodies.
Conclusion: If you're a fan of science, space exploration, or just looking for a challenging yet incredibly rewarding game, Kerbal Space Program is a must-play!
Probably one of the best games I have ever played. Its Physics are great and the planets are so cool a little low on graphics but there are free graphics mods that I got which make it look absolutly stunning.
This game’s a rocket-fueled fever dream, and I’m here for it. If you’ve ever wanted to fling little green dudes into space and see what sticks, Kerbal Space Program is your ticket. The first time I got a ship to orbit Kerbin? Pure magic. Wobbly, sure, but watching that little dot trace a circle around the planet made me feel like a genius. Then came the Mun—landing there for the first time was a mess of miscalculated burns and a lot of swearing, but when Jeb planted that flag, I was hooked. It’s a game of triumphs, disasters, and everything in between.
The progression’s what keeps you going. You start with junky little rockets, scraping together science from every crash and burn. Bringing back those first experiments—rolling a goo pod down a hill or splashing into the ocean—snowballs into bigger dreams. Soon you’re tweaking delta-v like a mad scientist, chasing that perfect burn to hit Minmus or Duna. Except when it goes wrong. I’ve run out of fuel more times than I can count, staring at a stranded crew, realizing I’ve got to abandon yet another batch of Kerbals to the void. Which leads to the rescue missions—because I’ve also run out of Kerbals at home. Strapping a pod to a booster and praying it catches up to the last guy I ditched in orbit is half the fun. You feel like a hero and a monster all at once. And docking for the first time? I was white-knuckling it, lining up the ports, and when they finally clicked together, I let out a breath I didn’t even know I was holding. Pure relief.
Then there’s the big stuff. Setting up an interplanetary communication network? Oh man, laying out relays around every moon and planet so your probes don’t go dark is a puzzle I didn’t know I needed. And the orbits—holy cow, I understand them better now than I ever thought I could. Eccentricity, inclination, apoapsis, periapsis—it’s all second nature after this game beats it into you. Sure, it’s not perfect; sometimes you’re just screaming at a stage that won’t fire right, or mourning a crew lost to a design I swore was solid. But when you nail that landing, or watch your comms network light up across the system, it’s worth every exploded booster. If you’ve got a soft spot for trial-and-error and a love for space, this one’s a keeper.
game good but just dont buy ksp 2 trust me ( at least not for a while since its gonna be a while until the new owners do stuff)
One of the all time classics. Still an excellent tool for introducing kids, (or anyone to the space flight.) Get this one and not the crummy sequel, then mod it to bring the visuals up to date.
please buy or pirate this game, even if it doesnt seem like much, it can definetely keep you happy in lows and make you even more happy in your highs.
Although frustrating, it the show of perseverance that will get you all the way to duna (pun intended)
Very cool game, especially with mods
Play interstellar soundtrack while making the final descent on the mun and have barely enough delta v to make it back. Absolute Cinema.
its a nice game its basiclly like a nasa sim but you need more than 1 braincell to make rockets to get onto other planets
Extremely detailed and accurate simulation. Very humorous descriptions also.
1000 hours and I still have only done a duna landing with no return lol, this game is hard but fun
The bees rattling around in my otherwise empty skull love this god damn game
fun but you have to do alt + enter for full screen but its so fun and easy to understand
Graphics are pretty lacking, but game play is great. With mods definitely top tier game
the first time you send a spacecraft to an orbit on a different celestial body is insane, i almost creamed my pants just by landing on mun. kinda hard though
i like the game, however i have some gripes about it. unless your movement in rockets that are meant for other planets/moons is PIXEL PERFECT you will legitimately never make it to orbit in kerbin. I followed a guide completely perfectly down to the smallest turn to get to the moon and i did not get into orbit around kerbin. and i know this is just a big skill issue on my part. Besides that, games great
I love how realistic this game feels and the fact that you actually need to learn how to do things makes this game really special. 5 STARS
