TOO SLOW and clunky, literally bored while playing it on 4x speed.

Fun little arcade style game combining a Pacman with puzzles. Lovely pixel art, solid music with a smidgen of humor. A single character playthrough takes maybe an hour and the game changes with different characters but it's fun enough to replay anyways. That being said there is a 2 player mode and an additional master mode for a bit more replay value. Nothing special but exactly what I need on a slow Sunday afternoon.
My Experience
There really isn't a ton to say about Super BOO Quest. It's a top-down, arcade-style game about dodging humans while building up the spectral energy to haunt these cursed locations. I appreciated the Super Nintendo-style graphics and music, as the SNES was the first gaming console I owned growing up.
However, the game is kind of exacting, and you'll likely have many failures and near-misses as you proceed through these locations. I also found it difficult to figure out exactly how large my "fright zone" was (you have the ability to frighten humans in a small area around yourself). The game mentions that you can figure this out by paying attention to a "violet ray," but this wasn't particularly helpful.
I can recommend Super BOO Quest, but although I played it in co-op, I might recommend playing it single-player. With the game requiring the precision that it does, another player is more often simply a liability.
Another game that I bought solely because it was played on LGIO. It's fun to play through a couple of time, but if you're a completionist, it get's repetitive - there are 5 unique characters to play with, though the levels remain the same.
As a game where you collect orbs to generate spooky power to scare your enemies, and plenty of puzzles to overcome, this game is really great! There are a good amount of character selection with varying difficulty levels. The levels you are taken through each have their own era and theme, which keep progression fresh. I originally played this game for my Frightober series on Youtube because of the 16 bit feature, because my computer can't record more graphically powerful games. This game is a delight to play on those computers who can't play games like minecraft without lag. Its super fun, quick if need be, and challenging enough to make you think. Each themed level takes about 20 minutes, and is perfect for those who want to play a little at a time.

A cute little puzzle-arcade game that is very simple yet charming and fun. It is not without faults, but there is so much to love in this authentic indie game, that players can forgive some of the gameplay ingenuities, or some sporadic inaccuracies of the control system (it's mostly the collisions against the walls that can be annoying at times).
It is especially enjoyable with the local multiplayer, like most of SEEP games.
At this price, if you are a fun of retro games, it is really a no-brainer... it will definitely give you some hours of honest, carefree fun.
Very simple arcade-puzzle action where you have to get enough energy pellets to fill your "boo meter" in order to scare humans. It feels less like an SNES game and more like one of those weirdo 90s arcade games that you've never heard of but you accidentally find and have a fun afternoon with.
Surprisingly fun. It's nothing amazing or something you should go out of your way to play but if you've got $2 to spare, it's worth a shot. It's short but never boring!
Pretty funny game with a various contents to unlock (characters, endings and other sfuff).
The gameplay is fine, graphics nice and sound mediocre (but the voice was very good).
So I think is a good game for kids and who love happy-go-lucky games in 16 bit pixel art.

A puzzle game that anyone of any age can enjoy. Considering how many jump scare horror and Halloween games there are out there, it was pretty refreshing to play something with a more relaxing pace. From what we played, the puzzles ramp up their difficulty logically, the retro graphics are nice, and the music is charming. A lot of variety to be had for just a few bucks.
An enjoyable, short, simple, puzzle stealth game with a decent amount of unlockables. If you want something non-scary this Halloween, but want to enjoy the Halloween spirit, this is for you. Normally I try to write longer reviews, but I think the game speaks for itself and basically set out and did what it wanted to do. Sometimes walking back and forth can get a little boring, but that's about it. Though they do need to work on the music loops and make them y'know... loop. When it comes to the music, it reminds me more of Sega CD redbook audio than a SNES.
No, why I'm leaving a positive review is that some guy literally didn't check the games options and just said it's not joypad enabled. Having played through it with an Xbox 360 controller: You are wrong and your *"review" is bad.
If the problem was that it only supports my Xbox 360 controller, Steam now has tools that let you customize controls for any controllers. So that's on you, again.
*The review that got me to write this has been taken down.
