Really easy to use and can get the hang of it fast I would suggest getting a device for the keybinds because without that its very difficult to shuffle music and in game keybinds

In short — Soundpad is awesome. This app is perfect if you want to do more than just sit quietly in Discord or a game — you can blast memes or sounds at your friends whenever you feel like it.
Installation is super simple, and it works with pretty much any voice app without needing any complicated setup.

Hotkeys are a lifesaver — assign a few favorite sounds to keys and spam away like a legend.

This is primarily a soundboard / mp3 player, but I really only use it for the in-built TTS.

I am an autistic individual that sometimes has periods of not talking (whether because I just don't feel like it or because it is mentally + physically tiring) and this has been very helpful. As someone who also has notorious mic issues in my group when I *do* have the energy to talk, the TTS feature in this app has been a godsend for me.

This also works with Discord, which is what I talk to my online friends with. It can be a bit finicky to set up on Discord though.

Offers very little control or feedback on how loud and clear clips are. To me they sound about right, but to other people they're either much too loud or can't even be heard. Configuration settings aren't much help.

Simple. Easy. No fancy extras, just buttons and sounds. Love it.

The only differences between Soundpad and the first C++ project i ever made was: soundpad has a non-terminal GUI, soundpad has global hotkeys, and soundpad projects through your mic, instead of just through speakers.
If you just want to play music on your own headphones just use windows media player (the good one) and if you want to play a soundboard to play over your speakers i have a c++ build i can hook you up with for free
If you want to annoy people in SCP: Secret Laboratory, or Minecraft, or whatever else, and don't appreciate how bloaty Voicemod is, get Soundpad. There is also a non-steam version.

Soundpad is a really good soundboard app, it's better than all the other soundboard apps. You can drag any sound from you're files in the app it doesn't matter how long they are. I would definitely recommend this app. It's also sometimes funny to make people angry with this app playing a stupid sound!

The game looks amazing, but you're gonna need a pretty strong PC to get it running right. If your rig’s not up to the task, expect lag and frame drops, which can get pretty annoying. It’s definitely worth it if your PC can handle it.

Gone are the days of Audio Cables.

- Open soundpad
- Drag and drop in all your annoying or funny sounds
- Check your audio levels and adjust it needed (warning setting it to max is not recommended as while funny it becomes distorted and unrecognisable)
- enable the mute mic while sound is playing

And enjoy making funny clips or getting mass blocked lol.
Best part is you can even set it to clip moments as well

it's alright sometimes. the lack of content updates leaves a sour taste in my mouth. also the mouse sensitivity in ranked matches is unbearable to play with, and the sweats with steampads make the gameplay horrendous. 4/10. would not recommend.

i have small amount of time on this app but with my few hours of use i think its very cool and the sounds i can use are very cool and its very cool oh and its very cool

not sure how to get it working for discord but it does work with other applications with voice chat and is extremely fun to use. ive used it for roblox with my friends and ive made hilarious moments. if anyone has any tips they would like to share to get it working for discord id appreciate it.

Great soundboard, you don't have to jerryrig a bunch of technology, you don't need to set of some kind of bullshit virtual cable, you install it and it just works. My only complaints are my games sound being played out my microphone (not an echo), and being unable to play multiple sounds over each other or overlap sounds. Other than those two minor issues it's an excellent piece of software. And the game coming through your mic most of the time isn't loud enough to ACTUALLY be picked up by the mic so it doesn't really matter anyway.

VLC but I don't need to load my music file each time I open it. Tens of thousands of songs ready the second it opens.
Doesn't create a virtual audio device so no bs like voicemod. Good as just an mp3/flac player too.

80% of the hours is forgetting you have the program running. Other 20% is absolute memes and spamming VCs.

This is much better than other soundboards! You can drag and drop however many mp3s you want! Unlike other soundboards, it intercepts and adds data to your mic input instead of making its own mic input. This means you don't have to change your mic settings on everything just to have a soundboard. All you have to do is launch the program and it starts working perfectly.

Easy, simple and cheap. Even the free version is great.

I like it, simple, best and replacing clownfish with its design and productivity and voicemod.

I wanted to limit the amount of software needed to use a soundboard for my projects. sadly this software is too simple, not enough control on the audio level per sound file. I also had it cause some audio level issues in discord when speaking after playing a file. My own mic volume would spike and would in some instances cause my mic to stop working until I rejoin discord. I could use a 3rd party Mixing tool, was trying to avoid that.
Not a software for me but it might be fine for other users.
It does what is says and worked as intended.

Very lightweight, better than voicemod, which is just chromium webview, and has so many more features, options, and doesn't add any drivers. Allows good control of volume, whether what you hear or others hear, and is just overall a great program, for so cheap.

Good soundboard overall. The only thing that would be better is if it had a native built-in community sound collection to yoink files from so you wouldnt have to go searching for sounds to record online.

Amazing software tool that lets you create multiple working sound-boards.

This is great in ordinary multiplayer games, but to me it's the best in horror games with friends especially ones where you have to be quiet at times. I'll just play a random funny noise sometimes and watch my friends try their best to not burst out laughing, it's all a great time. Thanks soundpad
