Use this to fix FromSoftware PC ports

I swear, us ultrawide gamers are so neglected it's not even funny. I'm using a G9 OLED ultrawide monitor, and every time I set my windowed games to 2560 x 1440, they either cover the taskbar or the taskbar covers them. I use MS PowerToys to center game applications while they're in windowed mode, and not all my games have this issue, but the ones I frequently play, unfortunately, do. Moving my taskbar to the left seems to resolve the issue, but I really hate the look! Restarting "Windows Explorer.exe" in Task Manager doesn't work, and programs like MS PowerToys and Display Fusion are cool and useful, but are no help either. 

I saw a video of this program (Borderless Gaming) on YouTube and was instantly hooked. You could set custom resolutions to windowed games, make them go borderless, or give them a borderless look by removing application title bars, allowing them to float cleanly without the taskbar covering them or vice versa. So, yeah, I was hooked, as this not only fixed my issue but combined with DisplayFusion's dim mode, would ultimately make windowed gaming look and feel like full-screen gaming, with Discord and other applications on the side dimmed out. Unfortunately, none of this worked or to the extent I thought they would. The program settings would work but then instantly revert back or make the games go fullscreen or other weird resolutions. Again, not all my games have this issue, and I think I'd still use this program if I didn't have this issue. However, I'm going to keep testing some more games in my library, and if both issues persist, then I'll unfortunately have to refund this product.

Just a waste of money, does not work with the one game I wanted it to work with, sure can create a border less window but cannot then interact with the game screen....additionally the dark mode has no way to be activated even following the guides provided Refund requested. AVOID!!!

Barely Functions, the auto detect alone decides whether or not you get to use the application, I have to repeatedly reopen it, Has problems with infinitely loading and some applications refuse to work no matter what I do.

Do NOT work for LEGO games like LEGO Movie, use DXWND instead, since that actually works. - Refunding.

Absolutely amazing program love playing any game where I can make to where I can safely tab out without messing with my game progress

This DOES NOT WORK. Tried to use with Dragon Age: Origins, a supported game, and while it does make it borderless, it also deactivates the mouse, rendering the game unplayable. Steam refused my refund request because I spent 3 hours trying to get this to work; I should have given up at 1 hour and 55 minutes.

Literally useless program. Does nothing that basically every game itself doesn't already do. If you were hoping this would take your windowed game and remove the border and titlebar that is not what this program will do. It forces the windowed game to be fullscreen when it makes it borderless, which COMPLETELY defeats the point. It's like the program is a troll.

The fact they still update this app and it fixes things in games lazy devs don't do, earns borderless gaming 10/10 smug faces.

Not sure if it good nowadays consider dlss exist.

Used this program many times before free from github, and you still can, developer still lets you download it for free there.

Having used it so much I don't think it's bad to toss a few moneys here and also have it on steam, have saved me countless headaches with some games that either don't have borderless mode, or that just don't play well with alt-tabbing, or don't let you select what screen to go on when you got multiple.

Get it for full price, get it on sale, or go grab it free on github, either way, good to have.

Has bugs, like freezing and needing a restart once a day. But only thing I've found that lets me play games that don't support window resizing natively

This is a must have for any games that don't support ultrawide formats well. I've been using it on my ultrawide monitor to play age of empires 4 in the center section of my monitor, so the mini map isn't on the other side of the room

Reliably useful, you don't need it all the time, but when you do, it does the job and does it well.

It works flawlessly when appropriate, paying for dark mode is just unbelievable though...

The product is self explanatory. You don't always need it but WHEN YOU DO. It's a great to know i got a solution. Over the years its paid for itself with me retaining my sanity.

This is a great piece of software.

Now, it's worth mentioning that you can and should download the free version of this application through the github page, as there are no features locked behind the steam version. I bought this just to support the developers.

This application is very straight to the point, and works in every scenario I throw at it. Steam games, non steam games, emulated games through rcps3 or pcsx2 xenia etc. The favorites feature allows the software to instantly apply borderless fullscreen to specified games whenever they're launched. I've configured Borderless Gaming to launch in the background and minimized to my taskbar, and it's very easy to access and use.

It's weird that the dark mode feature is locked behind DLC, even if it's 99 US cents you shouldn't be nickel and diming your steam userbase for such a basic feature. I suppose you can justify this as a donation to the developers, but I've already bought the base software for 5 US dollars when I didn't need to. Dark mode should be free, especially to people who are paying for this free piece of software on steam. This is a hill I'll die on.

Again, don't feel obligated to use this version as the free one is just as functional. If you want a similar utility with more features, check out Lossless Scaling as an alternative.
