It may seem crazy but all of my 80 hours have been spent playing offline.

This is one of those games which I will get hooked on for a few days and then leave for a year or so. But I always keep coming back. It's very fun to try to get every kind of victory with every character because they all feel different. The heavy RNG element makes it more replayable because you never really know what will happen in the next game.

Underrated and eminently enjoyable hex-tile board RPG. The artwork in particular is nothing short of marvelous. And if you grew up reading Redwall like I did, the imagination at play here is very clear and they have constructed a wonderful world around it--complete with a wide variety of very fun game mechanics.

Played this game for a long time. Now, this game is riddled with teamers and Cheat Engine hackers that hold your game hostage until you quit those games manually. Sad to hear that the developers of this game are in hibernation and won't be able to fix these issues for a very long time. Additionally, as of 6 months ago, the Valve Anti Cheat system was removed from this game as shown in the steamdb.info page.

Almost 10 years in and this game is still incredibly glitchy. My friends and I often struggle to form a party because of server connection issues, there's no way to reconnect if the game crashes...

Solid 4 out of 5, but I have been playing this only with friends.
- Procedural maps allow for variety in every game.
- Dice rng element is fairly balanced with the cards.
- Multiple ways of winning the game and you can change the approach during the game if things do not go as planned.
- You can have a solid headstart, but the game can easily turn the other way around, and viceversa.
- Well balanced in almost every aspect.
- Characters have unique ways of playing and handling specific mechanics of the game.
- Some dice are cool.

- Sometime some bugs happen that prevent a player from playing the game, like for example being poisoned and the whole screen becomes green.
- If you disconnect it doesn't allow you to reconnect to the previous game, and if it does, at least it never worked for me and my friends.

A fun Multiplayer board game that starts off very random then as you slowly figure out the cards and effects that could happen you begin to learn the game and what the outcomes could be.

After playing for a while you realize "oh no it really is random, I failed all my quests and still won" and "I have a 90% chance of winning this turn, but oh no one of my friends has a hot rot wine and tried to body the king but got ruined and a friend that was AFK won a prestige victory" and submit to the flow of silliness

looked not so great when watching my friends play but it's actually really good after following the tutorial, a ton of lore if you can read it fast enough, most visuals are moving images, characters move too, best gotten if you have at least one friend who also plays it as even though you don't need communication, or even benefit from it, it makes it more fun, public matchmaking for something like this is unlikely as fun but could be, and maybe you'll be that at least one friend for one of your friends if you just get it anyways

Fantastic board game! I'd completely recommend it more so if you have a friend you know to play online with. Also so many dice.... so many....a dice goblins dream! haha

Excellent board game with some fun interactions. The balance of what win condition to pursue based on your hero versus the arrayed enemies is an enjoyable puzzle.

Really liking this game so far and definitely looking forward to getting the expansions. The gameplay is great; I especially love that you can take actions during opponents' turns (keeps things interesting!). Art style is lovely. I love the setting and the characters. My one complaint thus far is that XP progression seems a bit slow, but I haven't played a ton yet.

I really enjoyed this game in it's prime, but it really suffers with a limited player base now which often results in no other plays found in matchmaking. However, if you have a small group of friends that want to play then it's definitely worth picking up.

like it at first. Was really fascinated by the world. Asked a question in a demo play through about having an "offline mode" to just explore and was laughed at by the devs. My impression overall: Meh.

I think this game is a great example of how anything can be fun with the right group of people. That's not credit to the game itself; it's credit to the people one surrounds oneself with.

So, early review of the game - tutorial was very interesting and gradually introduced all the mechanics well, after an hour and forty minutes split across two sessions, I think I'm interested in playing more, which is really the test of a strategy game. Fantasy furry aesthetic is amazing. The rot mechanics are narratively relevant and interesting, very easy to learn and hard to master kind of thing, where you can learn one strategy in a few minutes but put together a game plan over days and find out how it interacts with all the others over forever, and while the main Tabletop Strategy game I've played is Civ VI, this seems better than that in a lot of ways, notably in how it doesn't seem to explode in scope at the slightest push in the wrong direction, forever locking you into the first path you learned to play well. I want to try magic and rot and war and everything, it all seems interesting here, not just the combat. I'm excited to see if I'm right about that or if it's actually just Risk but with extra steps.

This is a very unique and strategy-oriented board game. Been playing for a few years. Love it! Only complaint is that queue times can take awhile. Weekends are the best time to play.

This is a timeless great game. Yes, it comes down to luck a lot of the time, and people might rage quit early, but I say, why? I've won a game never getting past my second quest. That's the magic of this game. You might be down and out early, but if you hang in for the long haul (1 hour to maybe 1:30 tops) you can still sneak out a win. I wish it was still supported, there are some bugs that persist, but besides that this has been my most played game on Steam.

Fun with friends, boring as all fuck when solo. But I feel it isn't the games fault for that, it isn't really meant to be played solo, so if you got no friends who are gonna play with you, pass.
